Privacy
What we know about you
In short: almost nothing. The site has no user accounts, no forms, no analytics and no advertising cookies. Below is exactly what happens.
What we do not do
- We run no user accounts and collect no e-mail addresses beyond the correspondence you send us yourself.
- We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics tool.
- We embed no advertising pixels, tracking scripts or social media widgets.
- We set no cookies in the public part of the site. A session cookie is created only in the administration panel, which is available to the editors alone.
- We do not profile visitors and take no automated decisions about them.
What we save in your browser
When you run a comparison, we save your last EPA and DHA target together with the selected filters in the browser's local storage (localStorage), under the key suplometr.omega3.last-comparison. This serves only to let you return from a product page to your results.
In the same way we save: products added to the comparison (suplometr.porownanie.v2), products on the shopping list (suplometr.lista) and the last settings of the other categories’ calculators, separately for each category (suplometr.kalkulator.…). The “Clear” button in the comparison, “Remove” on the shopping list and “No, thanks” next to the calculator settings delete these records.
These data are not sent to the server and are not shared with anyone — they stay on your device. You can delete them at any time by clearing the site data in your browser settings.
Server logs
Our server, like any other, writes technical access logs: the IP address, the date and time of the request, the address of the page visited, the browser type and the address of the referring page. They serve only to keep the site secure and working correctly and to diagnose failures.
The legal basis is the legitimate interest of the controller, that is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The logs are not combined with any other data and are not used to identify people. They are overwritten automatically in a rotation cycle, no later than after 90 days.
Links to shops
Product pages contain links to external shops. When you click such a link you land on the page of another entity, which applies its own data processing rules and its own cookies — we have no influence over them.
Some of the links are or will be affiliate links. We pass no data about you to the shops in the process; we do not have any. The rules of commercial cooperation are described in the How we rank section.
Correspondence
If you write to us at info@suplometr.com, we process the data contained in the message solely in order to reply to it. The basis is the legitimate interest in conducting correspondence. We keep messages for as long as is needed to handle the matter.
Your rights
You have the right of access to your data, and the rights to its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (the Polish data protection authority).
Because in the public part of the site we collect no data that would let us identify you, in practice the only data these rights can concern is the content of your correspondence and the technical server logs.
